How many miles do shocks and struts last?

Typically shocks and struts should be replaced every 50,000 to 100,000 miles.However, if your car hasn’t been used daily, those shocks and struts may last up to 10 years. But if your vehicle is run daily and you run it hard, five years is likely the maximum life expectancy of most shocks and struts. For average use, perhaps seven-to-eight years.
